When I Believed My Thoughts, I Suffered is the topic of our friend Jonas Magram. Our peace of mind is constantly disrupted by the stories we tell ourselves (a.k.a. the thoughts we dwell on). Wanting things we do not have. Resenting what we do have. Longing for what we've lost. Fearing the future. Dwelling on past mistakes. These are the kinds of thoughts that rob us of peace. But there is a way out and a way forward to greater peace, joy, and even physical well-being.
